Simply open the app and tap the camera icon to take a photo of your meal. Our AI analyzes the image and identifies the food items, estimating calories, protein, fats, and carbs within seconds. The more you use it, the better it gets at recognizing your common meals.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel: open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → find Calorie Counter & AI Tracker → tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of the current billing period.
Yes! The app is free to download from the App Store. You can use the core calorie tracking features at no cost. Premium features such as AI photo scanning, personalized plans, and smart weekly insights require a paid subscription.
Our AI photo estimates are based on visual analysis and are approximations. Accuracy can vary depending on meal complexity, lighting, and portion size. For best results, use our food database search for verified nutritional data, especially for foods you track frequently.
Yes. The app supports Apple HealthKit integration. You can enable this in the app settings to sync your calorie data, weight logs, and activity data with the Health app. Your HealthKit data is never shared with third parties.
During the onboarding process, we ask about your height, weight, age, activity level, and goals (lose weight, maintain, or gain muscle). We use this information to calculate your personalized daily calorie and macro targets. You can update these settings anytime in your Profile.
You can request account deletion by emailing support@calorie-counter.site with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days. Note: deleting your account will not automatically cancel your App Store subscription — please cancel that separately through your Apple ID settings.
First, try closing the app completely and reopening it. If the problem persists, check that you have the latest version installed via the App Store. You can also try restarting your iPhone. If none of these steps help, please contact us at support@calorie-counter.site with your device model, iOS version, and a description of the issue.
Basic food logging and manual entry work offline. However, AI photo scanning, food database searches, and syncing data across devices require an internet connection.
